Man Shot Dead in Firing Incident Near Mari Mor, Attock

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) A 38-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Mari Mor in Attock on Saturday, according to rescue officials.

The deceased was identified as Rizwan Qadoos, son of Abdul Qadoos.Initial reports suggest that unknown gunmen opened fire on him, resulting in his death at the scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a Rescue 1122 ambulance rushed to the location. Rescue personnel carried out necessary procedures and shifted the body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Attock under police supervision.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to ascertain the motive behind the killing and identify those involved.
