Man shot dead over old enmity

BUREWALA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in an incident of firing allegedly stemming from an old enmity within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station.

According to police sources, the incident occurred in Chak 435 EB Dogran Wala, where the victim, identified as Waris Dogar, was traveling on a motorcycle when he was targeted by his rivals.

The attackers opened fire, killing him on the spot before fleeing the scene.

The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police further revealed that the deceased had recently been released on bail in an attempted murder case prior to Eid.

Efforts were underway to trace and arrest the suspects involved in the incident, police sources added.
