Man suffers burns in fire incident

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) A man suffered burn wounds in a fire incident in Hasilpur tehsil of the district.

According to Rescue 1122 , the gas valve of a restaurant’s oven leaked in the kitchen in Hasilpur, causing

a sudden burst of flames.

As a result, a chef standing nearby was affected by the fire, they said, adding that rescue staff provided first aid to the injured person and shifted him to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hasilpur for further treatment.

The fire was brought under control; however, rescue staff thoroughly evaluated the entire site to ensure that no potential hazard remained before returning.

The Injured was identified as 28-year-old Sabir of Chak No. 18/FW, Hasilpur.
