“Marka-e-Haq” speech contest held at University of Layyah

LAYYAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) A speech competition titled “Marka-e-Haq” was organized at University of Layyah in which a large number of male and female students from various universities participated enthusiastically,here on Friday.

Focal Person of the Prime Minister’s Youth Progra,Fahad Shahbaz attended the event as the chief guest.

Addressing the participants,he said victory in “Marka-e-Haq” was the victory of the entire nation,adding that the brave armed forces of Pakistan had given a befitting response to the enemy.

Speaking on the occasion,Hassan Javed Bhatti said “Marka-e-Haq” was a symbol of pride for the whole nation,especially the younger generation.

He said the armed forces had raised the nation’s dignity by responding effectively to enemy aggression.

Deputy Commissioner(DC),Asif Ali Dogar said Pakistan was a peace-loving country however,no compromise could be made on national security and defence.

He added that the armed forces had defeated the enemy by delivering a strong response during “Marka-e-Haq”.

The participating students also expressed happiness over the completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq” and paid tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan for their sacrifices and achievements.

In the speech competition,the team from University of the Punjab secured first position and won a cash prize of Rs.50,000, while shields were distributed among other participants.
