Marka-e-Haq to be celebrated with national zeal

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) An important meeting regarding the Marka-e-Haq celebrations was held here on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Nadeem Nasir chaired the meeting, in which officers of various departments participated. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Anwar Ali, Assistant Commissioners, PHA, Local Government, Industrialists, Traders and other officers were also present on the occasion.

The participants also shaped up special programs in commemoration of Pakistan's historic victory over India.

It was decided in the meeting to display billboards, panaflexes, banners inscribed with different slogans in connection with Maraka-e-Haq across the city.

The live concert and fireworks programs will be organized on the night of May 9 and 10.

Special decorations will also be made in industrial areas and factories in connection with Marka-e-Haq.

The different celebrations including seminars will also be held at educational institutes to highlight the positive image of Pakistan.

Motorways, service areas and important highways will also be decorated while special lighting, branding and programs will be held at important points, main roads, and eight bazaars of clock tower chowk.

The meeting was informed that all government departments and law enforcement agencies will also celebrate the victory with enthusiasm.

It was also informed that special measures are being taken to ensure public participation in the victory celebrations.

The Marka-e-Haq celebrations will also be held at tehsil levels also.
