Marri praises security forces for eliminating 22 terrorists in Khyber

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Central Secretary Information of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Shazia Marri Friday paid tribute to the security forces following the successful operation in Khyber district in which 22 terrorists were killed.

In a statement, she lauded the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism, saying their courage and commitment were a source of national pride.

Shazia Marri also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of a 10-year-old child who lost life due to firing by terrorists during the incident.

She said Pakistan’s leadership was making sincere efforts to promote peace in the region and across the world, while terrorist elements were attempting to sabotage these peace initiatives.

The PPP leader said the nation stood united with its security institutions and reiterated that anti-state forces would be defeated through collective resolve and national unity.
