Martyr constable honored on death anniversary

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2026) The police have honored martyred Constable Muhammad Ashraf by presenting salute on his death anniversary.

Police spokesman said here on Sunday that officers and personnel of Dijkot police station visited the grave of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Ashraf and laid floral wreaths. They also showered rose petals and offered ‘Fateha’ for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Constable Muhammad Ashraf had embraced martyrdom 20 years ago while bravely confronting armed dacoits in the line of duty.

He sacrificed his life for protection of the nation and set an example of courage, dedication and patriotism, he added.

He said that the sacrifices rendered by police martyrs would continue to serve as a beacon of guidance for generations to come.

Their sacrifices can never be forgotten, rather the police department would ensure welfare of their families and children by extending full support to them, he added.
