Martyred ASI paid tribute on 26th death anniversary

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) Nishatabad police paid tribute to Shaheed ASI Shaukat Ali who laid down his life in a courageous encounter with armed criminals in Lahore 26 years ago.

Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that police officers paid homage at the martyr’s grave by offering flowers and prayers for elevation of his spiritual status.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar remarked that bravery and devotion of martyrs like ASI Shaukat Ali have safeguarded future of the society and their contributions would always be remembered.

He said that the police department considers it its foremost responsibility to support the families and children of martyred officers, ensuring their welfare and education.

Highlighting ongoing efforts, the CPO said that all available resources are being utilized to provide comprehensive support for the well-being of both police personnel and their families, honoring the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
