FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Vice President (VP) Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Engineer Asim Munir has warmly extended his congratulations to the entire nation and the business community on the historic anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer, commemorating the day Pakistan successfully conducted its atomic tests in 1998 to become the world’s seventh nuclear power.

In a special statement here on Saturday, Vice President FCCI Engineer Asim Munir said that May 28 remains a historic milestone in the country’s history, symbolizing unparalleled national cohesion, strategic defiance and self-reliance.

Engineer Asim Minir emphasized that just as the nation united in 1998 to overcome immense global pressure to achieve defense sovereignty, the country now needs the exact same spirit to tackle its pressing economic challenges.

He urged both the public and private sectors to collaborate closely to achieve economic self-reliance through increased exports, industrialization, and technological innovation.

FCCI Vice President added that the business community of Faisalabad stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the country’s institutions to safeguard Pakistan’s economic frontiers.
