Mayor assures of completion of long delayed flyover project

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) The Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro has said the government was trying to complete the long delayed project of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Flyover in Hala Naka area at the earliest.

Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Zinaul Abedin Memon and other concerned officers, the Mayor visited the project site in Hala Naka, noting that the flyover was a very necessary road for smooth functioning of traffic.

The flyover connected the road passing through the New Sabzi Mandi to a link road which headed towards Hyderabad bypass for onward movement towards the National Highway and M9 Motorway.

The Mayor said the project's swift completion had been made a priority to ease the flow of traffic on Hala Naka chowk which often witnessed frequent congestion.
