Mayor Karachi, PAA Chief agree on joint efforts to beautify Jinnah International Airport vicinity

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Mayor of Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui, held a meeting on Tuesday with Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed SI(M), Director General of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), at the PAA Headquarters to discuss coordinated efforts for improving the areas surrounding Jinnah International Airport.

During the meeting, both sides explored avenues of cooperation between the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and the PAA to enhance the airport’s surroundings, including adjacent roads and public spaces, with the objective of creating a more welcoming environment and easing the travel experience for passengers.

DG PAA assured the mayor of his full support in initiatives aimed at beautifying Karachi and uplifting the environment around Jinnah International Airport.

Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional coordination to improve airport facilities, passenger services, and aviation-related development projects for the benefit of Karachi’s residents and the wider public.
