Meeting held to finalize Ramazan security plan in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) In preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramazan, SP City Division Murtaza Khan Bangash held an important meeting with delegations of Ulema from both Ahle Sunnat and Ahle Tashia schools of thought, along with members of the local Peace Committee, to review and coordinate security arrangements across the city.

The meeting was convened on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada. During the session, detailed discussions were held regarding security measures for Masajid and Imambargahs, particularly during Taraweeh prayers and 'Sehri-o-Iftar' timings. Measures to ensure smooth coordination and maintain inter-sect harmony were also thoroughly reviewed.

The participants agreed to further strengthen mutual communication and cooperation to uphold religious harmony throughout the holy month.

SP City Bangash assured the delegations that foolproof security arrangements would be implemented during the holy month, with additional personnel to be deployed at sensitive locations.

He also urged religious scholars and community leaders to continue their full cooperation with the police in maintaining law and order, promoting unity and brotherhood, and ensuring that citizens are able to perform their obligations in a peaceful and secure environment.
