Meeting held to make best cleanliness arrangements for Eid ul Azha:

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Sillanwali Chaudhry Muhammad Akmal on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the 'Suthra Punjab' program team to finalize a comprehensive strategy for the timely and safe disposal of sacrificial animals' offal during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

During the session, Manager Monitoring Suthra Punjab Sillanwali, Engineer Zeeshan Asif, briefed the participants that biodegradable bags would be distributed door-to-door across Sillanwali city and all rural settlements (Chaks) of the tehsil.

He stated that the Suthra Punjab team would collect these bags directly from households after the sacrifice, urging citizens to use only the provided bags to facilitate efficient waste management.

The Engineer Zeeshan Asif further informed the meeting that awareness camps would be established in various localities, including Shah Nikdar, Sobhaga, Shaheenabad, and Chak 126 SB, to educate the public on hygiene and environmental protection.

The AC Sillanwali Chaudhry Muhammad Akmal issued strict directives, asserting that no negligence or slackness regarding the cleanliness operation would be tolerated.

He instructed the field teams to maintain the sanitation system at all costs during the festive holidays to provide a clean environment for the residents.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to ensure the best possible administrative arrangements for the convenience of the public in the Sillanwali Tehsil.
