District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan, Muhammad Arif Khan, attended the meeting and briefed participants on the possible impacts of the severe heatwave, precautionary measures for public safety, and Rescue 1122’s operational readiness to respond to emergencies.
The meeting was informed about the risks associated with forest fires, preventive strategies, available resources, and emergency response mechanisms to effectively deal with such incidents.
Muhammad Arif Khan also shared details of major forest fire incidents previously reported in the district, highlighting the rescue operations conducted, challenges faced during emergencies, and lessons learned to strengthen future preparedness and response efforts.
