Meeting reviews solar electrification of KPRA headquarters

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Director Administration, HR & Coordination, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), Asma Khyber, chaired a meeting with a delegation from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar for the solar electrification of the KPRA Headquarters.

During the meeting, the representatives of UET Peshawar delivered a detailed presentation based on a survey conducted to assess the electricity consumption and energy requirements of the KPRA Headquarters building.

The representatives of informed the participants that a 140-kilowatt solar power system is proposed for installation to meet the building’s energy needs.

The delegation also shared its implementation strategy and future plan for the installation of the solar system, highlighting the expected benefits in terms of energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost savings.

Those who attended the meeting include Director Legal, Tax Policy & Reforms, Naimatullah; Director Enquiry & Investigation, Pir Muhammad; Additional Collector Headquarters, Abdul Raziq Khan; Director Finance, Hina Hafeez; and other officers of KPRA.

The participants discussed various aspects of the proposed project and emphasized the importance of adopting sustainable energy solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce energy costs at the KPRA headquarters.
