Merit being ensured in recruitment for teachers post: DC Kalat

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Durrani on Tuesday said that merit is being ensured in the recruitment process for the posts of teachers of the education Department, Kalat.

He said this while chairing a meeting of the District Recruitment Committee (DRC) regarding the recruitment of temporary posts of the Education Department, Kalat.

The meeting was attended by District Education Officer Nisar Ahmad, District Education Officer Female, Ms. Farzana Ahmadzai, District Accounts Officer, Aftab Ahmed, Superintendent Haji Muhammad Ibrahim Bangulzai. The petitioners who had filed objections appeared before the committee in the meeting.

The committee members reserved their decisions on the objections of the petitioners.

Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Durrani said that merit is being ensured in the recruitment process for the posts of teachers of the Education Department, Kalat.

He said that no injustice would be done to any candidate, verification of all educational certificates would be done.

“Strict legal action will be taken against those whose degrees are found to be fake and a case will be registered against them and they will be imprisoned for three years. They will not be eligible to apply for any government job”, he said.
