ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Chief Meteorologist of the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Dr. Zaheer Ahmed Baber, on Friday predicted that the rains are expected to continue until March 30, bringing intermittent showers across various regions.
While speaking to a private news channel, Dr. Zaheer Ahmed Baber urged citizens to exercise extra caution, warning that April is expected to be warmer and drier, while light to heavy rain is predicted until March 30.
He added that April is expected to be significantly warmer and drier, marking a clear transition from the ongoing rainy period and signaling the start of a hotter spell across the country.
He further warned that the monsoon season is likely to begin by mid-June and urged citizens to adopt precautionary measures to stay safe amid changing weather conditions.
The Chief meteorologist also noted that the hot and dry weather is expected to continue through April and May, lasting until mid-June when the monsoon season is likely to begin, urging citizens to remain cautious during this period.
