Metro Bus service timing changed temporarily

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) The Punjab government on Sunday changed the working hours of the Lahore Metro Bus service, which will be available now from 6 am to 9 pm.

The decision was taken under the energy conservation policy to reduce fuel consumption.

The pressure on the transport sector has increased due to the ongoing tension in the middle East and the shortage of petroleum products, in view of which it was decided to keep the operation of the Metro Bus for a limited period.

Under the new schedule, the service will remain completely closed after 9 pm, while passengers have been directed to reach the station by 8:30 pm for the last bus.
