Minister inaugurates Sar Qila- Etay Khwara road project

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan on Saturday formally inaugurated main Sar Qila to Etay Khwara road project to be completed under Annual Development Program (ADP) with an estimated cost of Rs1,424.750 million.

Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said KP government was taking practical steps to provide better transport facilities and bring underdeveloped areas into the mainstream of development.

He said the completion of the project would not only provide comfortable and improved travel facilities to the people of Buner and Shangla but it would also contribute to growth of regional economy.

He added that transparency and quality were being ensured in development projects to provide durable and reliable facilities to the public. He added that the pace of development and public welfare in Buner and PK-26 would be accelerated for facilitation of area people.
