It is a huge achievement on Pakistan’s diplomatic front, he said while talking to a private television channel.

He lauded the role of the prime minister, deputy prime minister, and field marshal in achieving the ceasefire in the region.

He said that Pakistan would continue to play a role in ensuring lasting peace in the region.

Commenting on oil prices, he said that the government would pass on the relief to the public if prices change in the international market.
