Minister reviews cleanliness arrangements in tehsil Jaranwala

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique visited tehsil Jaranwala to review cleanliness arrangements on the third day of Eid-ul-Azha on Friday.

Secretary Local Government Shakeel Ahmed accompanied him. The minister reviewed the arrangements for cleaning on Eid-ul-Azha in various areas of the tehsil Jaranwala. He distributed lunch boxes and Eidi among the sanitary workers at the camp of the Suthra Punjab Agency.

The minister was also briefed regarding the cleaning operation on Eid-ul-Azha in the tehsil. Talking to the media, the minister appreciated the sanitary workers, terming them heroes, for cleaning the roads and streets in scorching heat.

He said that on Eid-ul-Azha, all the administrative machinery, as well as provincial ministers are active in the field to ensure cleanliness in every nook and cranny of the province. The minister also talked to the citizens and took feedback on the performance of the Suthra Punjab Agency.

The citizens expressed their gratitude to CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif for cleanliness arrangements on Eid.

Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Abid Hussain Bhatti, Assistant Commissioner Aurangzeb Goraya and other officers were present.
