The promotion is granted on the instructions of Chief Minister Sindh, said a statement on Thursday.

It is worth mentioning that Mir Nadir Ali Abro is the son of the late Comrade Taj Muhammad Abro, a distinguished Pakistani writer, intellectual, judge, politician, social reformer, educationist, and journalist.

He is widely known in the Anti-Corruption Department Sindh as a people-friendly police officer with an excellent reputation.
