MIRPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Authorities on Thursday finalized preparations for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) public rally scheduled for July 24 in Mirpur, where former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and other senior party leaders are expected to address supporters.

The arrangements were reviewed during a high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Chaudhry Sajid Aslam at the Deputy Commissioner's Office. The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Khurram Iqbal, Federal Minister Tariq Farooq, Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Rajab Ali Baloch, assembly candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, former minister Raja Javed, Aziz-ur-Rehman Jarral, Naib Thakar, Sohaib Saeed and senior officials.

Participants discussed detailed plans for security, traffic management, crowd control and administrative coordination to ensure the rally is held in a peaceful, orderly and secure environment. Authorities also reviewed contingency measures and operational arrangements for the event.

The meeting directed all concerned departments to maintain close coordination and complete their assigned responsibilities well ahead of the rally, with officials emphasizing that all necessary administrative and logistical measures would be in place before the arrival of the party leadership.
