Mirpurkhas Board scandal deepens as key official suspended

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) In a major breakthrough in the ongoing corruption scandal at the education Board, the Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards has formally suspended Controller Anwar Aleem Khanzada, identified as the central accused in the case. Moreover, he has been stripped of his additional charge as Secretary of the Hyderabad Education Board.

Meanwhile, officials revealed that the scope of the investigation has been significantly expanded to include allegations of money laundering, issuance of fake matriculation and Intermediate certificates, and facilitation in obtaining national identity cards.
