MNA credits government, leadership for successful diplomacy at global front

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Pakistan People Party’s Member National Assembly (MNA), Samina Khalid Ghurki, expressed gratitude for the respect and recognition Pakistan has recently received on the international stage, saying the country's improved global standing achieved through unity and support of coalition parties.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament on Tuesday, she credited the achievement to the people of Pakistan, the armed forces, the present government, and all coalition partners for working together in the national interest.

She said the strength of the current government lay in the unity of its coalition, adding that the leadership of the coalition, including Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the President, and other allied political parties, had extended their full support to the government.

The leader remarked that Pakistan was now enjoying greater respect globally. She said there was a time when Pakistanis felt hesitant while carrying the green passport, but today no major international discussion was considered complete without Pakistan's participation, reflecting the country's growing diplomatic importance and international recognition.
