MNA orders restoration of water filtration plant

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Irum Hamid Hamid on Saturday directed the activation of a water filtration plant in Satellite Town Block A in collaboration with the Punjab Clean Water Authority to ensure the provision of safe drinking water to residents of NA-84.

According to party sources, the filtration plant has been restored to operational status following the lawmaker's directives.

District Vice President(VP) of the PML-N Youth Wing,Malik Mubeen Bashir Awan and local residents welcomed the move and thanked the MNA for restoring the facility.

Speaking on the occasion,Irum Hamid said the Federal government, under the leadership of Prime Minister(PM) Shehbaz Sharif was committed to public welfare and national development by utilizing all available resources.

She said serving the public remained the foundation of her political vision and reiterated her commitment to resolving infrastructure and healthcare issues in the constituency while ensuring the provision of basic civic facilities.
