Model arrangements at City Park mark Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) The district administration made exemplary arrangements at City Park on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, providing citizens with a vibrant and family-friendly environment for celebrations.

A large number of residents flocked to the park on the very first day of Eid to enjoy recreational activities and festive attractions. The well-organized setup, cleanliness, and decorative ambiance drew appreciation from visitors of all ages.

Deputy Commissioner Maliha Rashid and District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Abid Warraich visited the City Park, where they formally inaugurated a colorful flower show. During their visit, both officials mingled warmly with the public, sharing Eid greetings and spreading joy among families.

In a gesture of appreciation, sweets and Eidi were distributed among “Suthra Punjab” sanitation workers, recognizing their dedicated services.

Children were also treated with gifts, candies, juices, and sweets, adding to the festive spirit and making their Eid celebrations even more memorable.

Deputy Commissioner Maliha Rashid stated that special attention had been given to the beautification of parks and public squares, enhancing recreational facilities for citizens. She further highlighted that, in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakistan Day, the city had been illuminated with decorative lighting, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
