Model flower market opens in Sambrial

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali inaugurated the first Model Flower Market in

Sambrial, aiming to enhance urban beauty while providing dignified livelihood

opportunities to flower sellers.

Under the initiative, vendors previously selling flowers on carts and roadside benches

across different parts of the town have been relocated to a well-organized and aesthetically

developed market. The project has not only helped curb encroachments but also improved

the city’s overall discipline and cleanliness.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner appreciated the efforts of Assistant

Commissioner Adnan Bashir Waraich and said the vision would be expanded further to promote

beautification and public facilitation alongside anti-encroachment measures.
