MPA Salman Naeem, commissioner inspect ongoing work on park development

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2026) Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan, accompanied by MPA Salman Naeem, visited the under-construction Muhammadi Ground Park in New Shah Shams Colony to review progress on the development project here Tuesday.

Expressing strong displeasure over the slow pace of work, commissioner directed the Multan Development Authority (MDA) to take strict legal action against the contractor responsible for delays. He made it clear that negligence in public projects would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

He instructed the authorities to expedite construction and ensure the park is completed at the earliest, stressing that the facility is being developed to provide modern recreational space for local residents.

Providing quality civic amenities to citizens is a top priority, commissioner Khan said and directed that all development projects be completed within stipulated timelines in line with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Officials of MDA briefed the commissioner on the current status of the project and promised to get the work accelerated to meet the deadlines.
