Muharram arrangements reviewed in Kharian

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmad Sher Gondal chaired a meeting of the Tehsil Peace Committee to review arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram and ensure effective coordination among all relevant departments.

According to the official source, members of the Peace Committee, DSPs, chief officers, representatives of various departments and other officials attended the meeting.

The participants discussed security measures, law and order, sanitation, traffic management and other administrative arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.

The Assistant Commissioner directed all concerned departments to complete the required arrangements in a timely manner and maintain close coordination to ensure that Muharram processions and gatherings are held in a peaceful and organized manner.

He said all institutions should work in close coordination to facilitate mourners and maintain public order during Muharram.
