Muharram security plan reviewed at DIKhan Police Lines

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Headquarters, Jalil Imran Ghalzai, chaired a meeting with staff and heads of various sections at Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines to review security preparedness and administrative arrangements ahead of Muharram-ul-Haram.

The meeting was held on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmad, and focused on the prevailing law and order situation, professional responsibilities of the force, and overall security measures in the district.

Addressing the participants, the SP Headquarters directed officers and personnel to remain vigilant, maintain discipline, and further improve their performance in the discharge of duties.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring effective security measures to maintain peace and public safety.

A special briefing was also given regarding security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.

The SP reviewed preparations for the deployment of additional police personnel and instructed the relevant authorities to ensure proper accommodation, food, and other essential facilities for officers and officials assigned to Muharram duties.

Later, Jalil Imran Ghalzai inspected the police mess, canteen, barracks, and other administrative sections at the Police Lines. He reviewed cleanliness standards, food quality, and residential facilities, and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials for further improvements.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP Headquarters said that all available resources would be utilized to maintain law and order and ensure the protection of lives and property during Muharram-ul-Haram.
