Multan-Avenue: commissioner expresses displeasure over slow pace of work

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan on Sunday expressed displeasure over the slow pace of development work during his visit to Multan Avenue.

He directed officials to start road carpeting within the next seven days and ordered that installation of street lights be initiated alongside road construction.

The commissioner also instructed authorities to ensure development of green belts and dedicated green areas simultaneously.

He directed the Multan Development Authority and District Council to complete a survey against illegal and unapproved buildings at the earliest.

Immediate action was also ordered to stop illegal construction of ramps and stairs on service roads.

The commissioner emphasized adopting safety measures at construction sites to protect citizens.

Officials of the Highways Department briefed him in detail on the ongoing work.
