Murad Ali Shah offers condolences on demise of Sadh Ram at Reharki Darbar

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday visited Reharki Darbar on Sunday to express grief and offer condolences to the family and the Hindu community on the passing of Gaddi Nasheen Sadh Ram.

The chief minister was accompanied by Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Provincial Minister for Excise Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Provincial Advisor for Rehabilitation Gian Chand Esrani, MPA Imdad Ali Pitafi, and Chairman District Council Ghotki Bangul Khan Mehar.

Speaking to the media, CM Shah described Sain Sadh Ram as a kind and affectionate spiritual leader.

He recalled several meetings with the deceased, noting that he was always cheerful and concerned for everyone.

"His passing has created a great void,” the chief minister said, expressing hope that Sain Sadh Ram’s followers would continue to uphold his message of peace and love.

Responding to a question, Shah said the riverine Katcha area of Raunti had been a major security challenge, but the Sindh government’s measures had brought significant improvement compared to the past. He added that operations in the Katcha area would continue alongside development projects to improve facilities for residents.
