Murree DC enforces zero-tolerance policy against cheating in board exams

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi on Wednesday emphasized a zero-tolerance policy against cheating during ongoing board examinations, stressing strict transparency and merit at all centres.

During a surprise visit to Government Boys High School Lower Mall Murree, he inspected examination halls of classes IX and X and reviewed seating arrangements, facilities and staff performance.

He directed officials to ensure a fair and disciplined environment, underlining that a transparent examination system was vital for students’ future.

The deputy commissioner also reviewed security arrangements, including entry and exit points and deployment of personnel, and ordered strict vigilance to ensure students’ safety.

He checked attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff, sought explanations for absentees and warned that negligence in official duties would not be tolerated.

He further inspected cleanliness arrangements and directed staff to maintain a hygienic environment, while appreciating the overall performance of the school administration.
