Musadik Malik condoles death of journalist Javed ur Rehman’s father

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Masood Malik on Friday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Professor Hafeez ur Rehman Khan, father of senior journalist Javed ur Rehman.

In a condolence message, the minister paid tribute to the late professor, describing him as a respected academic, a man of integrity and a personality known for his lifelong dedication to education and knowledge.

He said Professor Hafeez ur Rehman Khan’s intellectual contributions and dignified character would always be remembered with honour and respect.

Dr. Musadik Malik extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, particularly Javed ur Rehman, and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant them patience and strength to bear the irreparable loss.

He said the death of a father was an immense personal tragedy and created a void that could never truly be filled.

The minister also prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and sought Allah Almighty’s mercy, forgiveness and the highest ranks in Jannah for the deceased.

He further expressed solidarity with the grieving family and said the government and journalist community shared their sorrow in this difficult time.
