NA passes four bills, defers two others

The National Assembly on Monday passed four bills clause-by-clause with a majority vote

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) The National Assembly on Monday passed four bills clause-by-clause with a majority vote.

The bills included: The Standard Time (Interpretation of References) (Amendment) Bill, 2026; the Civil Servants Act, 1973 (The Civil Servants (Amendment) Bill, 2025); the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) (Amendment) Bill, 2025; and the Environmentally Sound Management of Inventory of Hazardous Material on Ships Bill, 2025.

Meanwhile, consideration of two bills — the Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2026 and the Islamabad Capital Territory Condominium (Ownership and Management) Bill, 2026 — was deferred.
