Nadeem Omar, Tariq Sarwar elected KRCA, BRCA president

Cricket administrator Nadeem Omar on Thursday was elected president of the Karachi Regional Cricket Association (KRCA) while Tariq Sarwar won presidency of the Bahawalpur Regional Cricket Association (BRCA)

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Cricket administrator Nadeem Omar on Thursday was elected president of the Karachi Regional Cricket Association (KRCA) while Tariq Sarwar won presidency of the Bahawalpur Regional Cricket Association (BRCA).

Elections for the Karachi and Bahawalpur Regional Cricket Associations have been completed, further strengthening the governance structure of regional cricket in Pakistan.

Renowned businessman, sports patron and owner of the Pakistan Super League franchise Quetta Gladiators, Nadeem Omar, has been elected President of the Karachi Regional Cricket Association.

Meanwhile, Tariq Sarwar, a Member of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Board of Governors, has been elected President of the Bahawalpur Regional Cricket Association.

Both Nadeem Omar and Tariq Sarwar have made valuable contributions to the promotion and administration of cricket in Pakistan over the years. Their elections are expected to further strengthen regional cricket, enhance governance, and accelerate grassroots development.
