Naseerabad health dept completes emergency arrangements for Eid al-Azha

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) District Health Officer Dr. Ayaz Jamali has announced that all emergency arrangements have been finalized to ensure the public receives timely and effective medical facilities during Eid al-Azha.

Speaking during a review of the special Eid cell established at the DHO office, Dr. Jamali said that doctors, pharmacists, paramedics, and other medical staff will perform their duties responsibly throughout the Eid holidays, with attendance at all government hospitals and health centers strictly ensured.

He confirmed that a special Eid cell has been set up under his direct supervision, with teams working round the clock to provide immediate medical assistance.

Hospitals have been equipped with medicines, functional emergency wards, medical equipment, and staff presence to avoid any inconvenience to citizens.

Dr. Ayaz Jamali further noted that in view of the situation arising from sacrificial activities, the health department is fully alert regarding sanitation and prevention of epidemics, while the public has been advised to adopt precautionary measures.

He emphasized that providing the best healthcare facilities to the people remains the top priority of the health department, and all available resources are being utilized to achieve this goal.
