Nation stands united with armed forces: Zahid Qasmi

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Chairman Ulema Council Pakistan Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi said that the entire nation stood like an iron wall alongside the Pak armed forces on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq as this historic victory had not only crushed the nefarious designs of the enemy but also elevated Pakistan’s prestige at the global level.

In a special statement on the first anniversary Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, he said that Pakistan’s remarkable success was a manifestation of divine support and a clear testimony to the professionalism, courage and bravery of the Pak armed forces.

He said that the nation remained firmly united behind its military, just as it had been during the decisive moments of the operation.

He said that under the prudent leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistan Armed Forces especially the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated exceptional strategy, courage and professional excellence, marking a golden chapter in the country’s history.

He said that Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos proved that Pakistan’s defense was invincible and any aggression on eastern or western borders would always be met with a befitting response.

He said that the Ulema Council Pakistan, religious leadership and the general public extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pak armed forces on this remarkable success.

He paid rich tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the military leadership, stating that the nation took immense pride in its brave forces for ensuring defense of the motherland in an impregnable manner.
