National unity, armed forces’ role highlighted at “Marka-e-Haq” event

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Like the rest of the country, the week of thanksgiving marking the completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq” and “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Sanghar district. In this connection, a dignified ceremony was held on Tuesday at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sanghar Campus, attended by thousands of students.

Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sarah Javed, political and social leader Akbar Khan Mari and member of the Qaumi Paigham-e-Aman Committee Pakistan Rajesh Kumar Harsadani attended the event as chief guests.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Sarah Javed said that “Marka-e-Haq” was not only an important chapter in national history but also a symbol of collective struggle, sacrifices and unity. She stated that the bravery and professional capabilities of Pakistan's armed forces along with their ability to strike the enemy decisively, had sent a clear message to the world that Pakistan was a peace loving nation but fully capable of responding to any aggression.

Akbar Mari, in his speech, said that under the effective strategy of Field Marshal Asim Munir, India faced a humiliating defeat in “Marka-e-Haq,” adding that the country’s defense was in strong hands.

Rajesh Kumar Harsadani, while briefing the students about “Marka-e-Haq,” said that the strength of Pakistan’s defense was lying in the professional excellence of its armed forces and the unity of its people. He noted that such programs played a vital role in promoting patriotism and awareness among the younger generation.

A large number of teachers, students and people from different walks of life attended the ceremony. Special prayers were offered at the end to highlight the significance of “Marka-e-Haq.”

Director of the University Campus Mansoor Ali Khuhro, Assistant Commissioner Sanghar Shafique Ahmed Areesar, trainee Assistant Commissioner Sana Shafqat and students also addressed the gathering, shedding light on the professional competence and strategic excellence of the Pakistan armed forces.

Deputy Director Information Zafar Ali Mangi, Abdul Majeed Rahimoon, Ghulam Shabbir Kunbhar, Aijaz Hussain Zardari and others were also present on the occasion.
