Necessary arrangements, resolution of issues be ensured on a priority before Muharram-ul-Haram: Mayor Larkana

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Mayor of Larkana, Advocate Anwar Ali Lahr chaired a meeting here on Thursday regarding the arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram with the district administration and Shia scholars.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of Town Empire, Waqar Ali Bhutto; Chairman of Town Sachal, Sarfaraz Hussain Korkar; Chairman of Town Haidari, Abdul Haq Khowaro; Assistant Commissioner Larkana, Raja Daryah Khan Qureshi; along with representatives from various other departments.Officers and relevant officials from Rescue 1122, Rangers, District Police, MS Office, Public Health, Sindh Solid Waste Management board, and the Municipal Corporation also participated in the meeting.

Lahr, took briefings from officials of various departments regarding the preparations for Muharram-ul-Haram and instructed them to complete them on time.He strictly directed municipal employees to ensure the immediate completion of lighting, cleanliness, and other necessary arrangements in view of Muharram-ul-Haram.

The Mayor also issued instructions to the officers of the Municipal Corporation to maintain full cooperation and continuous communication with Shia scholars, while ordering that all necessary arrangements and resolution of issues be ensured on a priority before Muharram-ul-Haram.
