'Need stressed to provide protection to children'

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) Commissioner Ms Musarrat Jabeen emphasized the need to support efforts to ensure protection

of children.

She said this while visiting Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Bahawalpur here. She met with children

living in the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the Punjab government had been spending adequate funds for protection and welfare of children. “All available resouces are being used to ensure protection and welfare of children,” she said.

She urged civil society to play its due role for protection and welfare of children. She stressed the need to raise awareness among people about importance of enrollment of children at schools.
