New district prosecutor office Inaugurated in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Prosecution Rana Bilal Ahmed visited Gujrat and inaugurated the newly constructed District Public Prosecutor Office building.

He was accompanied by Secretary Public Prosecution Sulaman Ghani and Prosecutor General Punjab Syed Farhad Ali Shah.

According to official sources, the delegation formally inaugurated the modern office facility of the District Public Prosecutor Office Gujrat, which has been completed at a cost of Rs83.12 million and handed over to the department.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Additional Secretary Public Prosecution Punjab, District Public Prosecutor Gujrat Naeem Nazir, (DDPPO) Gujrat Syed Tauqeer-ul-Hassan, ADPP Muhammad Asif, (ADPP) Raeawaz Ranjha, and other officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Rana Bilal Ahmed said the Punjab government is taking practical steps to modernize the prosecution system and provide better working conditions to officers in order to improve the delivery of justice.

He added that improved infrastructure and modern facilities would enhance the efficiency of prosecution services and ensure more effective handling and follow-up of cases.
