New monitoring system implemented for primary sections

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) school education Department Punjab has implemented a new monitoring system

for monitoring Primary sections established in high and higher secondary schools

across the province.

As per direction of the Education Department, Assistant Education Officers (AEOs)

had been given the additional responsibility of monitoring primary sections of high

and higher secondary schools in their respective centers.

Under the new system, the option of monitoring primary section had also been

enabled in the monthly monitoring app, through which AEOs would be able to

submit their monitoring reports online.

The Director General Monitoring has ordered strict implementation of new instructions

in all districts, while Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) had also been directed to

immediately implement the new monitoring policy.

The Punjab Education Department has issued a formal letter to ensure implementation

of the orders.

Officials say that the new monitoring system would enable better monitoring of

the performance of primary sections, student attendance, teaching process and

educational quality.
