A new study has found that people living with high blood pressure may significantly improve their health through High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

Researchers said the study provides the first clear evidence that both HIIT and combined training programs involving different types of exercise are highly effective in reducing blood pressure.

The findings also confirmed that Aerobic exercise including jogging, cycling and swimming plays a major role in controlling hypertension.

According to experts, the results reinforce the growing body of evidence that regular exercise is critically important in managing Hypertension.

The study, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, was conducted by Brazilian researchers who analyzed data from 31 separate studies on hypertension and physical activity.

The analysis included more than 1,300 adults diagnosed with high blood pressure and compared the impact of different exercise routines on blood pressure control.

Researchers concluded that structured exercise programs, particularly HIIT and aerobic training, can be a powerful non-drug strategy for lowering blood pressure and improving cardiovascular health.
