Nine cattle markets set up in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, the district administration has established nine notified sale points across Gujrat for the purchase and sale of sacrificial animals ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to official sources, the notified cattle markets include Bhimber Road Air Strip, Bolay Band Jalalpur Road, Shahbazpur Road Jalalpur Jattan, Sargodha Road Kunjah, Noor Complex GT Road Lalamusa, Haveli Ghulam Mustafa Bhatti Mandi Road Dinga, Raja Farooq Town Sarai Alamgir, Kathala Chenab Gujrat, and Cattle Market GT Road Kharian.

The administration said that comprehensive arrangements are being ensured at all livestock markets, including sanitation, security, lighting, parking, drinking water, temporary sheds, veterinary facilities, and traffic management. Special desks of the Punjab food Authority, Health Department, and Livestock Department will also be established at these points.
