NIPA officers visit Chiniot, briefed on development, governance initiatives

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Officers attending the 39th Senior Management Course at the National Institute of Public Administration Lahore visited Chiniot, where they met Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan and District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif at the DC Office as part of an official study tour.

The visiting officers were warmly received by the district administration and given a comprehensive overview of Chiniot’s historical, cultural, industrial, geographical and administrative profile. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that resolving public issues remains the top priority, while highlighting ongoing initiatives in the health and education sectors alongside various public welfare measures.

She also outlined key development projects underway in the district, stating that schemes are being executed in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

These include major infrastructure and civic projects such as the Chiniot-Faisalabad dual carriageway, the District Complex, and the District Headquarters Hospital, along with efforts to enhance road infrastructure, sanitation systems and sewerage networks.

Meanwhile, the DPO briefed participants on the overall law and order situation, noting that all available resources are being utilized to ensure peace and stability in the district. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, exchange of shields, and appreciation from the visiting officers for the detailed and informative briefing.
