Notorious dacoit, drug dealer killed in police operation

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) A wanted criminal involved in multiple cases of robbery and drug trafficking was killed during a police operation here.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of SP Paharpur Division Iqbal Khan Baloch and led by DSP Paharpur Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, along with SHO Panyala, SHO Paharpur, and SHO Bandkorai.

The police team raided the hideout of Faridullah, son of Saifullah, who was wanted in several cases.

During the raid, the suspect opened fire on the police party, leading to an exchange of fire. The accused was killed in the retaliatory action, while all members of the police team remained unharmed.

District Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmed, praised the police team for their bravery and urged the public to continue cooperating with law enforcement agencies to curb crime.
