NTUF inaugurates girls’ gym

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) National Textile University Faisalabad (NTUF) has inaugurated a newly constructed state-of-the-art girls’ gym aimed at promoting health, fitness and physical well-being among students by providing them with modern exercise facilities on campus.

NTUF Rector/Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rashid Masood inaugurated the gym during a ceremony held at the university campus here on Monday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Prof Dr Rashid Masood said that health and fitness of female students remained among the university’s top priorities, adding that the establishment of the modern gym reflected the institution’s commitment to providing quality facilities for students alongside academic excellence.

On this occasion, NTUF Registrar Salman Saif, sports Convener Waqar Ahmad, Dr Danish Mahmood Betab, Dr Sajida Parveen, Madam Nadia Shamim, Madam Atiya Iram, Madam Maryam Rasool, Sports Officer Imran Ali Gill and Public Relations Officer Sardar Parvez Akhtar were also present.
