The students of BS Accounting & Finance and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Faisalabad Business School, National Textile University Faisalabad (NTUF) in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) have organized an informative and interactive seminar and exhibition on the theme of "Dual Banking System"

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jun, 2026) The students of BS Accounting & Finance and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Faisalabad Business School, National Textile University Faisalabad (NTUF) in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) have organized an informative and interactive seminar and exhibition on the theme of "Dual Banking System".

The program was held under the supervision of Dr. Falak Sher, faculty member at Faisalabad Business School, NTUF, and Program Director of the MBA Program. The event aimed to provide students with practical exposure to Pakistan's banking system.

The university students participated enthusiastically in the activity, with each team assigned a specific banking product.

The teams presented the features and operational mechanisms of these products under both conventional and Islamic banking systems.

Through beautifully decorated stalls, research presentations, and comparative analyses, the participants examined key banking products from both conventional and Islamic perspectives and demonstrated keen interest in the subject.

The event featured the participation of prominent banking professionals, including Mufti Abdul Basit from Meezan Bank, as well as Ahmed Bilal Arif and Muhammad Sulaiman from the State Bank of Pakistan.

The guests visited the students’ stalls, engaged with them, and commended the quality of their research, analytical thinking, and practical insights.

They emphasized the importance of such collaboration between industry and academic institutions in preparing students for professional careers in the financial sector.

Later, the student teams which demonstrated outstanding performance were awarded certificates and shields.

On this occasion, Dr. Falak Sher, Director of the MBA Program, paid tribute to the participants’ professional skills, creativity, and teamwork and expressed gratitude to the State Bank of Pakistan for its valuable support in fostering financial awareness and experiential learning among future financial professionals.
